How to use the Google Maps Driving Directions Service

• Identify the appropriate map above that shows the region where your hotel and/or arrival airport is located
• Identify either your arrival airport or hotel and click on the plane or bed symbol
• Click either the “get directions to here” or "get directions from here" link as appropriate or enter as much information you have in the “start address” box (i.e. “Jerez”)
• Click “Go”
• The green “start of route” symbol should now appear along with a blue route line to your destination
• If the start of the route is not now at the correct point, drag and drop the green "start” symbol to the correct point on the map (the driving directions at the left hand side will automatically adjust to suit the alterations made to the route)
• Optional - you can customize your route to avoid motorways by ticking the “avoid highways” box
• Click the “get reverse directions” link if you need new notes to get you back to your starting point
• To print the route map and directions click on the “Print” link at the top right of the page.  Tick the “show original map view” box at the top right of the new window if you would like the detail maps of the start and end of the route and the original map displayed
• You can also see a satellite image or a mixed map/satellite image by clicking the “satellite” or “hybrid” buttons at the top right of each map screen – good for zooming in on the golf courses you are playing!!
